  • Jin Joo is one of those bare-bones Korean places with zero atmosphere, but respectable food at good prices. Okay, so let's talk about the decor. The booths at this Waimalu Shopping Center locale are pastel pink, a little like the color of cotton candy. And from the main dining area, you can hear dishes being washed in the kitchen. But no one's going to complain when they get the bill. For about $5.50, you can order a daily lunch special that includes a meat dish, rice and kim chee. There's also bi bim bap (which they spell pi beem bup), BBQ beef, or spicy chicken that go for about $7.
