Stay away! Rude. Bland. Worst experience in Waikiki I've ever had.

I was served a bad meal. Normally I don't complain, but this time food and service was so bad I tried politely to explain. Manager last night was extremely rude. He embarrassed my group in front of entire restaurant, escalated situation way beyond control. The food was dry, tasteless, overpriced. The wait staff was indifferent, seemingly afraid of the angry manager. You have many other eating options in Waikiki. Stay away from this one.

    Beijing Restaurant

  • It's a hidden gem, little known to locals, though very much on the radar of Japanese tourists and international business travelers. It's a beautiful space of wood, stone and starched linen. But it's what's on the plates that counts, and that's where it delivers. Try the wontons in spicy garlic and chili or the soup noodle with spicy Szechuan beef brisket. But you must order the fried scallops, delicately coated with a lightly seasoned breading and flash-seared; perfect little moist pillows of sea essence.
