  • Old-school hip hop nights on Wednesday and the free 80s night on Thursday are the best and closest dance spots near UH. If you don't make it in because you're under 18 or don't want to pay the cover, just sit by the tree across the street and you'll hear everything. Anna's, a hub for underground music, also regularly hosts the local metal and indie music scenes, as well as more famous acts like Leftover Crack, Go Jimmy Go, and Ooklah the Moc.
