  • Wailana is best known for hearty breakfasts (all-you-can-eat pancakes and Belgian waffles) and an old-school menu of burgers, sandwiches and broasted chicken. The coffee shop and bar opened in 1970, and to longtime locals, it's hardly changed after almost four decades. Twentysomething hipsters head to Wailana's after a night of Waikiki clubbing for the more-than-reasonable prices, local comfort food and 24/7 availability.
