We ordered a bowl of saimin with vegetables and were in awe when our server delivered this impressively overflowing bowl. Packed with cabbage, bean sprouts, celery, kamaboko, ham, and of course, saimin noodles. Although it appeared to be a relatively small bowl, it was deceptively deep. The dashi from Violet's has a clean, unsalty flavor, no doubt from all the vegetables in the broth. The noodles were definitely factory bought, but the crisp vegetables and tasty broth more than made up for it. Another must try: Violet's oxtail saimin.
